Description
This is a new old stock complete R199, Raymarine part number E66076. This is a giant in-hull mount transducer that outputs up to 2kw. Please read the description carefully.
This was originally designed for Raymarine 1kw sounder units, including the L1260, DSM300, CP300, and CP370. The Raymarine connector was damaged and has been cut off. It can be used with a variety of Raymarine modules, Garmin GSD24, and Furuno units.
Even though it will only output 1000 watts on these Raymarine machines, the much larger element size increases sensitivity significantly over, say, the M260 (think of it as comparing the sound of an 8″ subwoofer rated for 400w hooked up to a 400w amp vs a 12″ subwoofer rated for 800w hooked up to the same amp).
For Raymarine – Simply purchase a Raymarine DSM-Style Transducer Pigtail from one of our other listings and splice, color for color.
For Furuno – It can be used with the Furuno ETR 6/10 and DFF1 modules, FCV-585/587/588, TZT2 internal sounder, etc. All you need to do is splice in an AIR-033-333 connector. IT WILL NOT WORK ON FURUNO DUAL LINE MACHINES (DFF3, ETR 30n, FCV-292/295/1000/1100/1150/1200). It is a diplexed transducer.
For Garmin – For the Garmin GSD24, it will utilize the full 2000 watts because the GSD24 can output up to 2000 watts. To do so, you would purchase the Garmin 8-pin wire block adapter, part number 010-11613-00. You would then cut the plug off and wire the bare wires to the wire block. Because this has XID, the GSD24 will recognize the transducer as an R199 and it will output full power!
Total cable length is around 18 feet and the transducer comes with all installation materials.
