We recently acquired a lot of parts from a marine distributor reducing excess inventory.

This is a KVH M5 18″ TracVision Marine Satellite TV Empty Dummy Dome

This listing is for a KVH Dummy Dome, completely empty with no internals.
This would be great for someone with a damaged dome, someone looking to match an existing dome, or someone that wants to hide other equipment inside (such as satellite compass, smaller dome, etc).
The unit is in good condition. Dome has been cleaned and polished to it’s best aesthetic condition , Overall good  condition.
As you are probably well aware, the countersink inserts in the plastic dome lid have a tendency to crack or break off, which can cause the dome top to fly off when underway.
We have learned a trick to stop this, which is to add washers to screws that go through parts of the dome where the countersinks have broken off, which we have done on these dummy domes.
