This Furuno 1954CBB/NT Navnet VX2 radar system is in great used condition. This is one of the best radar systems available to find birds. It is a 12kw, 72 mile, 6 foot open array radar system. We have upgraded this Black Box to the latest software version for optimal performance. The radar picks up targets very well, both near and far.
This is a CMAP NT MAX unit intended to work with Cmap NT MAX SD Cards. WILL NOT WORK FOR NAVIONICS GOLD CARTOGRAPHY.
The VX2 black box shares the same user interface as the normal 10.4 ” VX2 units but allows for a larger screen to be used and has a composite video in Port for camera, etc.

- RPU-015 – 1954CBB processor and power cable (7ft with 10A fuse)
- PSU-005 Radar Power Supply with Interconnect Cable (5m) to display and power cable (3ft).
- RSB-0072-060 12KW Radar w/ 6′ Radar Antenna – Excellent Condition, a small amount of paint flake with minor scratches on the pedestal. Both Pedestal and Antenna was resprayed by previous owner.
- MU-155c – Furuno 15″ Monitor (Light Grey Version) – Comes with 4x screw hole covers, VGA cable (3m), VGA-VGA Extender (14′) and power cable (6ft with 10A fuse)
- RCU-017 – Controller – comes with Cable (5m), Flushing Mounting Bracket & Suncover.
- Interconnect Cable For Radar – 10m (New)
- 4x Radar Mounting Bolts
As you can see, the system is fully functional – picks up targets well. The inside of the array looks great. All sealing grommets, etc. for the open array antenna are included. Display was flush mounted, no mounting bracket included.
The system is expandable – add an ETR-6/10 sounder module and transducer for sounder functionality or a heading sensor for radar overlay. Add a Navionics Gold SD card for detailed cartography, we have some used cards listed separately.
No Chart Card, Heading Sensor, GPS Antenna nor Sounder module included.
