Description
This is a very difficult to find 170 kHz analogue depth transducer for Network-series instruments and any other B&G equipment that uses a 170khz transducer. These were originally Maptech transducers but they share the same 170kHz element as the B&G. We are including a 10 ft. extension cable to make the total cable run around 14 feet. We have additional extension cables available, search “Simrad/Raytheon 7 Pin Connector Transducer Extension Cable”
You can cut the 7 pin plug off of the extension and either splice your existing 3 pin plug to it or if hard-wiring to a processor, using the loose wires.
We have pinned out the 7-pin cable and found the following pin assignments to be correct:
-Depth + : Blue ONLY (do not include blue with white tracer)
-Depth – : Black AND Black w/white tracer
-Depth Shield : Outer shield
Some transducers are equip with a temperature circuit as well – this 10k ohm resistor will be between the outer shield and white wires.
Includes bronze housing, blanking plug, fairing block, anti-rotational bolt, and installation instructions. This is the B122 long reach version with the high speed fairing block.
This also includes a full individualized factory testing report.
This was a new old stock item from a marine electronics company that went out of business.
