This unit was removed from a vessel during a refit.

We tested this unit on a SimNet backbone and used a IS20 wind display (not included) to test for funtion.

We found this unit to be fully operational.

This Simrad/Navico/B&G 508 Wind Sensor is in great condition over all.

The cups and wind direction indicator spin freely with no friction or resistance.

As with most of these used units there is some discoloration and paint bubbling (pictured).

This is all only cosmetic and does not hinder the function of the unit in any way.

This listing does not include any cables or mounting hardware. The display shown is only to show working functionality of the Wind Sensor.  This would be a great replacement for someone that has a downed 508 Wind Sensor.
